Shri Abid Bukhari from the same company and ardent Ashayein supporter of AA who is also instrumental for this company’s support was present too. From Anand Ashram family, Shri KS Chhabra Sir, Shri Paramveer Chhabra, Shri Raman Bhardwaj, Shri Sanjeev Ratti, Shri Pradeep Bhinde, Dr.Vandana Srivastava, Shri Manoj Ramchandani, Shri Bhavesh Parmar, Ms Gargi Nanda and Shri Hitendra Jethwa participated to make this noble-sewa occasion a success.

ON THIS OCCASION, MANAGING TRUSTEE SHRI KS CHHABRA SIR’S LIFE STORY WRITTEN BY SHRI PRADEEP BHINDE WAS LAUNCHED BY ALL THE GUESTS, ANAND ASHRAM TRUSTEES AND VOLUNTEERS PRESENT. BIOGRAPHY IS APTLY TITLED “IN LOVE WITH HUMANITY.” THE EVENT WAS SUCCESSFULLY ORGANISED, MANAGED, ANCHORED BY ANAND ASHRAM VOLUNTEERS AND ATTENDED BY ELITE AUDIENCE OF VADODARA CITY.

On 13th May, 2023 Bhoomi Pujan of Anand Ashram’s mega project SWARG took place. The land is located about 25 kms from Vadodara. It is near Bamangam Village of Anand District. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiastic Anand Ashram Volunteers with families, Trustees, Project Leads, Corporates, Well-wishers. Executives from M/s Indobaijin Chemicals Pvt Ltd who have contributed for beginning of this project also graced the occasion. When Managing Trustee of Anand Ashram Shri Chhabra Sir started the symbolic land-digging, everyone present felt how Almighty helps the hands that serve. This is the beginning of accomplishment of Big Sewa Dream. SWARG is going to be exclusive sewa-camp – “Happiness Home” for Senior Citizens.

On 29th October 2023, Anand Ashram Charitable Trust took a quantum leap in its social service verticals. The foundation stone laying ceremony of the forthcoming Happiness Home for seniors was carried out at the site of Village Bamangam, Ta.Anklav, Dist.Anand. It was a matter of great honour that Vadodara’s Rajmata Her Highness Shubhanginidevi Raje Sahib Gaekwad graced the occasion as Chairperson. Shri Vasu Raj Ariya, Chief Mentor and Group Executive of M/s Indofil Industries Ltd of the giant KK Modi group, graced the chair as Chief Guest along with his team from M/s Indobaijin Chemicals Pvt Ltd, who are the major contributors to this project. Anand Ashram fraternity was elated when Vadodara’s Commissioner of Police, Shri Anupam Singh Gahlaut, IPS, also graced the stage. In addition, there was a galaxy of Guests of Honour from various Corporates who performed pooja and showered their blessings for this forthcoming ambitious project of Anand Ashram. The Managing Trustee and Founder of Anand Ashram, Shri Chhabra, in his emotional speech, emphasised the need for such places for seniors to lead a joyous and peaceful life. Shri Dipen Gada, Principal Architectural Designer of the reputed M/s Dipen Gada & Associates, who have been assigned the task of creating this dream project, gave a superb presentation on the occasion. Anand Ashram invites more and more Corporates to join hands under their CSR activity with this unique project for senior citizens. The Second Edition of Shri Chhabra’s biography, In Love with Humanity (available on Amazon/Flipkart), was also launched on this occasion.

In August, 2021 Anand Ashram launched a new social service in its leap towards women empowerment. The sewa is named “Swa-Shakti” meaning self-power. This is aimed at generating self-employment amongst needy women. Under this service, needy women are being trained in Tailoring, Making Paper Bags, Best out of Waste and the related skills. For this, a Training Centre at Village Undera has been started. In a pleasantly welcome move to support Anand Ashram in this sewa, Reliance Industries Limited (Vadodara Manufacturing Division) sponsored some sewing machines. Undera Gram Panchayat provided their unused premises at Undera Village for starting this Training Centre. Koshambh Multitred Limited came forward with supporting the project in many ways including providing the necessary clothing. A voluntary organisation IOCL’s Working Womens’ In Public Sector (WIPS) also are providing support in training the needy women. As on today, more than 80 underprivileged women are undergoing training at this Training Centre at Village Undera. Anand Ashram is thankful to Reliance Industries Limited Vadodara Manufacturing Division. Reliance Foundation also sent their CSR Head Ms Suman Chaudhary to grace the launching. We are thankful to Shri Rajesh Ahuja of Koshambh Multitred too for his unstinted support Anand Ashram. Shri Sanjeev Ratti, our Trustee and Ms Rekha Sharma, Chairperson of Swa-Shakti deserves accolades for their commitment to this sewa.

On 26.8.2022, in a CSR initiative executed through Anand Ashram, 9000 notebooks sponsored by Anand Ashram’s sewa-partner M/s. Ineos Styrolution India Ltd for students of 9 Group Schools of Village Angadh were distributed today. Shri Adil Marawala, CSR Chief of Ineos with his team, Shri Pradeep Bhinde, CEO-Anand Ashram, School Principals, Teachers, students and Sarpanch Shri Dharmendrasinh Gohilji graced the occasion.
